I made HAND MADE cards a bit different than most. I have a few stamps..but since my supplies are limited..I use what I have on hand. Usually stickers...scrap booking paper...ribbons and this n that.
However..THIS time, I tried a new design ORIGINAL by ME...
I LOVE Hydrangeas..and cut out a photo of one I had taken awhile back..I had dried this one for display. When I finished the card and stood back..
I was soo amazed how three dimensional 3D it appeared!!
Let me know if you think so? Or am I wishing I see something unique!
This one a little different take on same idea.
This is another one made for a friend's birthday. She loved it. Made me HAPPY! Just using stickers...ribbon and I also LOVE using DOILIES for crafting.
Nice to be back to uploading and sharing new craft adventures and more.
Next..my NEW Sewing room addition!
Blessings from the HEART

WATERMELON carving fun!
I am so HAPPY that my compute cooperated this time..I wll try to upload the other photo if can. The other was also a WATERMELON carving, only a WHALE. Yea it uploaded! The button eyes is my husbands idea!
This is my first...so the lines on the Turtle's shell are not all that neat. I did not have the proper tool at the time. I made this for my neighbors children for Memorial Day.
I had so much fun creating this and planning on trying out more carvings. If you go to the website of the National Watermelon Competions you can view the various designs that are AMAZING.
We want to do the SUBMARINE next! My husband builds model subs for a hobby so quite appropriate for us! What a suprise for our friends next BBQ!
Try some yourself and let us know what you come up with and put a link on your comment here.
HAVE FUN..another CREATIVE HEART moment!

Photo Shoot...This is the day Photography
I am hoping to soon have my own Photography business...in prayer about this. It would be called "This is the day Photography" after all...taking the shots is of that particular day in the history of peoples lives..or the moment as you remember it.
I just did three sessions...A One Year Old (quite the challenge) but so happy with results..then with his Mom and Dad. Then a family with three generations...G'ma, mom, and daughters.
And my first Graduate! So Fun!
So in the midst...I had fun myself with archecture photo shooting around town. I LOVE this gate...
I hope you enjoy these...Thank you for stopping by my Creative Heart sharing!

Double Your Fun
A WESTERN THEME banquet was recently held at my church.
I was asked to make a SNAKE!
SNAKE??? For a game of (hot potato) snake style...A HOT RATTLER!
I decided...WHY NOT? make this one of those HEATING PADS for the WINNER!
I searched for fabric and found this at Walmart! It was ideal!
So I filled him with RICE to double as a warming pad for aches and pains.
I wracked my brain, trying to think of a way to make the RATTLE sound...no, a baby rattle was too big..the ones I found anyway...and then...THE LIGHT BULB CAME ON..in the candy section...as PEOPLE watched me shake every candy container in the aisle...
What crafters MUST do ...to be CREATIVE!!
I found this tic tac type candy (love the name on the box) and made an added sac to the end that could be removed after the game.
IT WORKED...I must tell you...PERFECTLY!!!
The sound was grrrreat! and the FEEL of the rice made it more...well, you know..SNAKEY!
So here HE is...with his felt tongue ready to bite...his rattler shaking as it was thrown about the ring...might add.. I DID double stitch all over and one part came open..
ROUGH TOUGH COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS gave this SNAKE a challenge!!
RICE began to go everywhere..as they would not give up..
WYATT ERP wouldn't have either... so one brave cowboy..twisted his neck and the round went on to a final WINNER!!!
No more aches and pains for that COWBOY! He's got one heated up snake to wrap around his neck! or walk around on his shoulder.
He should have been an Indian..so we could name him..BRAVE SNAKE MAN..
If you know a name for this Cowboy..let us know!
Just a CREATIVE idea...you might need one day!

A Photo Op..surprise!
Ziggy is quite a character as it is..let alone this!
It was a fun SURPRISE to see his reflection in the water bowl!
My daughter who previously owned him; said that he liked to see himself in the mirror..and would often find him there...looking at himself!
Wonder now, as this Main Coon loves water..let alone seeing himself..will he be spending even more time at this bowl??
We'll have future post on the character of Ziggy..and Gus.
Who by the way..FINALLY..like eachother!
Try some CREATIVE photography yourself!!
Spring Blessings!

I'm going to be PUBLISHED!
I am sooooo EXCITED!
I submitted a story along with my recipe and received a letter stating they want to publish it in an upcoming GOOSEBERRY COOKBOOK!
My recipe is a family secret! and ONLY SPECIAL people get this recipe..so I was elated to know how SPECIAL it will be now for a lot of other people!
The recipe is a "comfort food" in our home and my children's...as it brings back memories of a special time in our lives. One especially touched by GOD and his GOOD WORK in our lives. Yes...a recipe can do that!
Ever have a smell in the air...of the woods, or perfume ..that BRING you right back to a place or event. This recipe does that for us...and I hope it will for those who use it from the cookbook.
It might become a tradition as it has for us...
Everyone who has tasted this recipe..love it!
Surprising to me..for one of the ingredients...
I thought surely my meat and potato son in law..would not like this for the ONE ingredient.
It is HIS FAVORITE meal ... and one of my grandsons requested it for his b'day dinner!!
I'll let you know more as I find out myself.
I so hope they include my "story" with it...
if not..YOU WILL find it HERE!!
Visit the Gooseberry website and have fun..there is also a CIRCLE OF FRIENDS with great recipes and even videos!
FUN..
Happy Homemaking...cooking and crafting...FROM THE HEART!

Ziggy...Creative Photography
I introduced ZIGGY a few post ago...He is GROWING...and GROWING and GROWING!
This is his recent "portrait" sitting.
A MAINE COON...no telling how large this guy is going to be! He LOVES to eat! But isn't he just gorgeous...and his fur is as soft as silk.
I use to think CATS were GIRLS and DOGS were BOYS due to the fact that Cats were always primping and had soft fur. Sorry ZIGGY!!
I have to remember to call him my fur BOY!
...and because he likes to EAT....this little PIG was a perfect toy for him...and some BOYS still need a little comfort from time to time.
ENJOY!!
