Homemade gifts of LOVE

This is the latest of my Hope-totes. Sent to my daughter in law for her birthday. I've made several in the last month with so many birthdays in February!

Was everyone born in February???

I forgot to take pics of the other totes. They are so much fun...just with the Buttons alone! I have quite a collection now...so between SOCKS and BUTTONS now...I'm good to go with different styles.

It's funny now, how many people I have on the LOOK OUT for socks..now I need to put in orders for BUTTONS!!

I am limited to the choice in my area for the place mat colors...so the Buttons and the insert fabric have to make up the "personalized" part of the tote.

PLACE MAT LOOK OUT!!!!

Below is the fabric used for the insert. I thought is so cheery with the button colors.

I have to take a break from crafting for a time...planning and preparing for our Ladies Yearly Luncheon...and going through my radiation therapy.

If you'd like updates..you can read about my journey at my blog Watering Wells Of Hope.

If I don't post as often..you will know why!

The luncheon is April 3 so thereafter...I'll have some fun photos to share.

Blessings to all...
HOPE

LOVED the Hope-tote!!!!! These would also make sweet diaper bags. Let me know about your luncheon . . . sounds interesting. Maybe I could travel to meet you . . . will it be at your church?

I wish you were closer...I have a huge cookie tin full of buttons that belonged to my great aunt many years ago, and I guess it was passed to mom. I spotted them when we were moving Mom & Dad from the farm, and couldn't bear to leave them behind...even though I have no idea what I will do with them. I have memories of just playing with mom's button box, which was also a cookie tin.
Oh, and the February birthdays...I have 3 of my children's birthdays in feb, as well as many other relatives....a very popular month!

Lovely gift you made and a nice choice of colors, too! You have so much talent, faith and most of all hope. You certainly do inspire me, my dear.

Very pretty HOPE-Tote! See, we traded---I took 'Paws Up!' and you took 'HOPE Tote'! What a deal! Oh, and yeah, wish you were my neighbor too... I could help with the decorations with your ladies' luncheon, AND guess who I could play with and enjoy! Yeppers! You guessed it!

The tote is beautiful...

Enjoy the Ladies Luncheon, planning them is always so exhausting and time consuming but totally worth it!

All the best with the radiation therapy, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Best,

Claudia

You are welcome to use the photo you asked about. I just goggled it. Most of my pictures are ones I have taken, if not I find them on the internet.
