Bed Runner Progress!!

This is another attempt at my own FREE MOTION quilting!! Humble.

I wish I had seen Pumpkin Patch Quilters feathers before I began...I was actually quite close to the design...SEE what I mean about no pattern and no one telling me how to do this or that!

I spaced my FREE MOTION 2 inches a part

I just finished cutting off the excess batting...and now onto the binding and special label and little touches.

ALWAYS a crafting adventure with me! But, I must say..I learn a lot this way and find my own CREATIVE HEART in the midst!

I've been looking over a kazillon free motion sites and now full of ideas for a fun practise session!

HAPPY QUILTING...HAPPY CREATIVE HEART

Your bed runner is looking wonderful Hope, and I think the free motion you ended up going with really suits the design. :) Thank you for the link, that was very kind!

I also like to do my own thing quilt wise. Very rarely do I follow a pattern. I generally make up my own pattern as I go and free motion on a whim. LoL* It is liberating isn't it?

I love this bed runner and can't wait to see it all finished up. I too am a big fan of figuring it out as I go. So much more fun than following someone else's plan. When all else fails, there is always a trusty seam ripper around :-)

Thanks for visiting my blog.
I love making dolls. I have been making them for years and I get a thrill when they are finished and all lined up for photos!
I poked around your blog and LOVE your sock monkeys!!
I have made them in the past but just out of the men's work socks not the fancy socks you used!!!!
So Kool!!
I'll be visiting you often!

Blessings to you, Donna
