"Time for Tea" Ladies Luncheon 2011

"Time for Tea"
the theme for our luncheon this year...

I crafted this large TEA POT to place in the entry. It was a challenge to draw free hand...THANK YOU LORD for talent on loan!

I also hung smaller version teapots from the top of the entry doorway.

I noticed later ...that the back of the tea pot was BLUE! and with it partly showing was perfect for the view from our seated area!!!

With the talented help of one of our ladies...Word cards were placed in various spots on our buffet tables to emphasize words that end with "T"

Hospitality, Generosity, bounty, unity....

Our guest speakers devotion covered some of these words and the characteristics of each in our lives

The theme Bible verse for the luncheon is found in II Peter 1:8

Join me here again Thursday for more photos and highlights of our luncheon!

Bring a cup of tea with you too!

Blessings,
HOPE

I loved your decorations for your luncheon!!! That's great. I am glad it went well. We are going to miss our ladies banquet this year because we will be on vacation. Thanks for the encouraging comments on my quilt. I love looking at yours. The Lord has used them to remind me to keep trying at it!! :) Thank you.

A wonderful job in decorating and your free-hand teapot was lovely!!

Just wondering what the name of the FONT was that you used for the little blue cards with the verse??

I love it!

Oh so pretty~I loved seeing the pictures.
I am going to be praying for you Hope.
I am home now and hit the ground with my feet running~ there is no place like home.
I sure so miss that little boy. They are trying to get closer. Alex has been to war only once. My other daughter is getting engaged to a Military man too. He has already talked to Dad. I just have to trust the Lord.

How are you feeling? I still pray for you~hope you have gained back your strength!

Have a great day with your family!

Your freehand drawing of the teapot was spot on...good job!
