Bloom Where You Are Planted.. continued

This is an overall view of the table settings...Though not fully pictured here..each lady received gifts to take home. I always add the gifts the morning of the luncheon.

A mini bucket with hand crocheted dishcloth by several of our ladies..Me included, it was so much fun making these...

A Garden Poem book marker with poem on each side reflecting two Gardens

A Garden’s Delight
I walked along the garden path
Colors of blooms everywhere
Flowers of various sizes
Their lovely scent in the air
Each flower began as a seed
Just a tiny little grain
But with each day of growing
Its life began to change
It first opened up toward Heaven
And let the sun shine in
The dew drops of moisture
Nourished it within
Each bloom now has a special name
Unique all its own
A Daisy…Lilac…Buttercup
The Garden’s lovelies grown!

A Garden’s Delight
I walked along the garden path
Of God’s precious seed
I saw the beauty of the souls
Who saw salvation's need
Each a life all their own
From a baby on to be
Grownups making choices
For all Eternity
Each looked up toward Heaven
As the flower too had done
And sought the water of life
That Jesus alone gives one
Each also given a special name
Written in the Book of Life
They’ll dwell amongst the Lilies fair
In a garden of delight!

Bloom Where You Are Planted plaque with cute hanging ribbon. Made by our scrap booking expert Carrie!

When the luncheon ended, each lady filled her mini bucket with the delicious jellybeans in the goblets holding the daisies. They nibbled on these during the luncheon as well..YUM!

There is MORE to come! ENJOY!

Such lovely table decorations. All who sit at those tables are going to feel very special.
I noticed the picture of Gus. He is so sweet. I have a salt and pepper Schnauzer. I had another one but she passed 3 years ago. I still miss her. My other one is 14 years old.
Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a kind comment.
